Located in Maleme village west of Chania, and only 450 meters by a country lane from the beach. The property is surrounded on 2 sides by wild bamboo trees and olive groves. All amenities including grocery shops and a good selection of restaurants and cafés are within a short walking distance. The bus stop with regular service to Chania town and westwards towards Kolymbari is also a few minutes’ walk from the villa.
The two story main villa comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large open kitchen (with dining table seating 6) and living room, and a music room (2ndliving room).
The ground floor main entrance leads to the music room with electric piano and guitar, and a sofa bed which sleeps 2. This room leads to the spacious hall which accesses the ground floor bedroom, a bathroom, the kitchen and living room with large sliding doors to the terrace, and the staircase leading to the 2nd floor.
The second floor includes 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and each with private terrace, as well as a laundry nook with washing machine and dryer.
In addition, in the garden, there is a fully equipped guest house that comfortably sleeps 2-4 persons. The guest house has a double bed, a bathroom with washing machine, a TV, a desk, a kitchenette, a sofa bed which sleeps 2, and a private terrace with access to the lawn, pool, and garden.
Fully equipped with all modern amenities and facilities, the interior is meticulously designed and thoughtfully inspired by a blend of modern Greek and contemporary Swedish elements. The owners work within the music business, hence the villa’s name and musical touch.
Outdoors, a pergola covered terrace with lounge and dining area has views towards the pool and lawn. The lawn is scattered with lemon and orange trees, olive trees, an herb garden, and a vegetable garden which guests are welcomed to help themselves of.
The villa is mainly furnished for 8 guests, but with the 2 sofa-beds it can sleep up to 12 guests.
Please note: the property is not suitable for young children as it has an unsecured drop from the terrace/pool area towards the road. Also, as the villa is located on the main road of the village, there is traffic which can be heard from the upstairs balconies as well as the downstairs bedroom and music room. All windows and terrace doors however, are with triple glass ensuring a minimum amount of sound from the road. During the evening traffic is less, and with the use of air-con, the bedrooms are quiet. The guest house in the garden is not affected by any noise.
