Yoga Basics

This is a class for those who want a first experience with the practice and amazing benefits of yoga. It is slower paced and incorporates a wide range of basic postures to build a strong foundation and gain confidence.  It aims to rediscover your body, how it works, how it and enhances the function of all systems.

Duration 75 minutes.

Sun Salutation Yoga

Morning Sun Salutation Yoga Flow to bring your energy up and awaken your power! A combination of energizing breaths, warm ups, and strengthening sun salutations help ground you for the day, and rise to your full potential.

Duration 75 minutes.

Summer Flow

This challenging sequence builds strength and creates heat in the body.  It is a moving meditation with a strong focus on breath and alignment. Good posture, flexibility, strength, cardiovascular exercises, relaxed awareness, and concentration are among others the benefits of this flowing practice.

* We recommend taking Summer Flow only if you are familiar with the fundamentals of yoga, and only in the morning.

Duration 75 minutes.

Sunset Lotus

This is gentle exercise with focus on breathing, relaxation, and stretching. Props like belts, blocks, blankets, and bolsters are implemented to help you benefit from the yoga poses and the breathing techniques taught.

*We recommend Sunset Lotus in the afternoon or during sunset to maximize the healing aspects of this class.

Kundalini Yoga

This is a combination of movement, breathing exercises, meditation, and listening to mantras or chanting for those with extensive yoga practice. Its goal is not only to make the body stronger and more energetic, but also to increase one’s level of self-awareness and consciousness.

Therapeutic Yoga

This practice combines restorative yoga (supported postures), gentle yoga, breathwork, and guided meditation techniques in such a way that it is an excellent choice for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress.

*a particularly effective practice for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness.

Duration 75 minutes.

Yoga for Hikers

A gentle yoga sequence designed to release hardened and aching muscles. It stretches and strengthens the major hiking muscles. This practice helps to reduce both the risk of being sore after your hike, and the risk of injury on your hike.

Duration 75 minutes.

Prenatal Yoga

This is a tailor-made session consisting of gentle yoga poses and stretching exercises to uplift and relax, and breathing techniques to soothe energy and use of sounds to connect with the baby. Α program specifically designed for pregnancy.

*This practice is accessible to all women, whether they have previous yoga experience, or are new to yoga.

Duration 75 minutes.

Mother and Baby Yoga

These Birthlight inspired sessions consist of yoga poses and breathing techniques practiced by mother and child. Additionally, there are taught development and massage movements, which promote the well-being of the child and the connection of both.

*From 3 to 6 or 7 months

Duration 60 minutes.

Children ̍s Yoga

These yoga sessions combine music, movement, creative play, visualization, laugh and relaxation for children of any age.

*from the age of 5

Duration 60 minutes.

Family Yoga

A unique opportunity for the entire family to experience the benefits of yoga through common activities and relaxation.

Duration 75 minutes.

Yoga for Women

Yoga sessions especially designed for women. They aim to help detoxification, uplift and restore the hormonal balance, and enhance emotional stability and overall health. The sessions are adapted to fit the particular needs and experience of each woman.

Eleni Tara Blazaki is a certified Yoga Teacher with more than 15 years of experience in Hatha, Restorative, Yin, Therapy, Kundalini Yoga, and Family and Community Yoga. In addition she holds a diploma in Person-Centered Counseling, is a certified facilitator in Dynamic Meditations and Biodynamic Breathing, and has deep knowledge of herbs and essential oils which she uses to enrich her lessons.

Eleni Tara loves to lead this life guided from the heart, and to share this ‘‘space” in her lessons.
